
Turmeric Milk
Before going to bed have turmeric milk, as it nourishes your mind and relieves stress. Mix together half teaspoon of turmeric powder, half teaspoon of cardamom powder in 1 cup of warm milk. Boil it for 5 minutes and then add 1 teaspoon of honey. This can increase your sex hormones and decrease your stress hormones.
Eat Warm Foods
According to Ayurveda, you must eat warm foods. Cold foods decrease the stomach fire and are hard to digest. Also, avoid having raw foods during dinner. Have them during lunch, when the stomach fire is more as per ayurveda.
Eat Foods Rich In Omega-3 Fatty Acids
Omega-3 fatty acids decrease inflammation, and thus reduce the secretion of stress hormone, cortisol. This hormone not only disturbs your hormones but also decreases the libido. You can have fatty fish such as salmon, tuna, mackerel as a source of omega-3 fatty acids. The other foods containing omega-3 fatty acids are virgin olive oil, flaxseeds, walnuts, etc.
Good Fats
Fats are also important for you body. However, you must increase the intake of good fats, which remove the bad cholesterol from the blood. This increases circulation and balances your hormones.
You will also experience increased libido, as the sex hormones will increase. You must eat whole eggs, oysters, avocado and dairy products as well.
Foods That Increase Oestrogen Levels
You must consume foods rich in oestrogen (female sex hormone). These foods are olives, peas, flaxseeds, garlic, extra-virgin olive oil, beets and sunflower seeds.
Sleep
An eight hours of sleep is a must for your hormonal balance. Sleep prevents stress, increases libido and relieves inflammation. For better sex life and to reduce stress, have a proper sleep, so that your internal body organs are well repaired.
Avoid Foods Causing Allergy
If you are allergic to certain foods then avoid those foods. Food allergy causes internal inflammation and leads to increased production of stress hormone cortisol. This can affect the body's production of sex hormones.
