All fats are not bad for you. Good fats help to remove cholesterol from your body and also reduce belly fat. Foods containing good fats are salmon fish, avocado, olive oil, walnuts, sunflower seeds, etc. This is one of the surprising reasons for belly fat.
You must know what type of workout focuses on belly fat. You must follow cardio exercises and weight training that help the belly muscles to lose more fat as compared to other sort of exercises. Muscles lose more calories during the day and muscle mass can be increased by strength training. More muscle mass means more fat burning.
As we age, the rate of metabolism also decreases and the body changes the pace of losing fat, especially the belly fat. Women in their menopause (cessation of menstruation) stage suffer from belly fat that does not vanish easily. Follow a diet rich in fibres such as oats, whole wheat, fruits, etc. Also, go for a workout that targets mostly belly fat.
Another reason for fat belly is stress. Having work-related stress or an emotional stress produces a stress hormone in your body called cortisol. This hormone increases your belly fat and makes it protruded. Reduce stress in your life so that no cortisol is released.
If you sleep for less than 8 hours a day, your body can get stressed easily. You also crave for sugary and high-carbohydrate foods to comfort you. Both stress and wrong eating habits can increase the belly fat. Less sleep is a factor that causes fat belly.
