Recognizing the many benefits of exercise, many people who never miss a workout. But the negative effects of exercise can arise if we do it excessively.
Imagine our bodies such as banks. Sports can be regarded as borrowing money from the bank, while the rest is recovery or savings. If we take more money out of savings, then we are in a bank account can be discharged and we are bankrupt.
Every individual is different, there is no definite limit the duration of exercise is considered excessive. But there are few signs of excessive exercise our bodies do need to watch out.
1. Less ready
easiest Signs that indicate excessive exercise is you do not feel ready to exercise. Less ready is actually not related to sports motivation. But if lately you feel exhausted before you start the exercise, may is you already over do it.
2. Heart rate at rest
Monitoring the heart rate at rest (resting heart rate) is the best way to determine your physical condition. If you notice a sudden increase or decrease in heart rate at rest is about 5-10 beats per minute, and it happened lately you diligently practice load, then this is an indication you need to rest more.
If your heart rate consistently high or low, this is a sign you're less rested. If you experience this trend, lower the intensity of the exercise until your heart rate at rest is stable again.
3. Sleep patterns and appetite
How good sleep patterns and appetite normal is a good indicator of your body's condition. When sleep is often interrupted or you lose your appetite for a few days, consider to reduce the duration of the exercise you are doing.
We've all experienced it difficult to sleep at night and not feel like eating, but when those two things happen almost simultaneously, it could be a sign your body is too tired to exercise.
